Seedify Protection Upgrades: Preparedness Evaluations

Hello Seedify Community,

Today we want to share upgrades that will be in effect from this article forward regarding IGO launches.

This week we had our fair share of learning experiences from our latest launch. We gathered all the feedback from all the Seedify communities during this time. Also, we had many internal meetings to evaluate how we can have more protection measures, not just with refunds but before the launches take place as well.

Until now, our policy was when we announced an IGO; it was to make it happen. While our team puts tremendous effort into each IGO to be successful, how prepared the project is for it is a big denominator of the launch's success.

#1: If a project is not prepared and does not apply the key things that we strongly advise, even if it’s an incubation project, it will be postponed or dropped from having a launch from our launchpad if they insist on the date scheduled.

#2: If a project is not actively participating in the marketing and community-building efforts milestones we set for them way before the IGO, or they could not successfully implement them, we will advise delaying the launch until they can get more assertive on the marketing and community side. We will also set new milestones for each project in terms of the level of reach, social activity, and engagement metrics that they will need to reach before the launch.

#3: If a project tries to dodge any of the contract clauses, such as having a Market Maker, a bot protection system that is thoroughly tested prior, budget for liquidity provision, and activities and milestones we have strongly advised them, the community will be informed that we don’t deem the project to be ready for the launch, and we will postpone the launch. If the project still wants to launch regardless because they have set plans with other launchpads, they can do so, but we will not participate in the launch in these cases.

While usually postponing or dropping a launch can be deemed a negative, after the experiences we have gotten this week, we recognize that having a bad launch is a much worse condition.

While we do have refund systems in place, having more strict mechanisms in place is essential not to waste the time and energy of our community and team. It will be also crucial to have great experiences for people who are buying our IGO launch tokens from Dexes and Cexes, the reputation of KOLs and Influencers we work with, as well as the self-regulation that needs to protect and grow the ecosystem.

This article does not mean that projects do certain things they do with bad intentions, although, from this announcement forward, we won’t be ok to go ahead with a launch when a project is not deemed fully ready for a successful launch.

If we do not enforce the rules and milestones we set for projects, the results will not be as effective as our community, KOLs, and buyers who buy after the launches. Having great launches that satisfy everyone is a much better alternative for the projects launching from our launchpad as well, so these rules are also for them, not against them.

The self-regulation and protective measures we defined in here will be in effect for all the Seedify IGOs starting from this announcement.

Best Regards,
Seedify Team
